Bit off topic but I find it weird that the beeb are even allowed to promote the use of twitter and facebook all the time... seems counter to all their charter rules and supposed impartiality etc. But woe betide Graham Norton wearing a charity ribbon or the bloke off Masterchef doing potato ads...!

Imagine if they read out comments from forums instead. Admittedly they wouldn't have a lot to go on here recently but still...

Hope your bad day has improved!

Together Stronger acoustic played briefly over the Andrew Marr show's review of the year.

Unless I missed it, I'm surprised that Nicky et all haven't really commented on this year's "populist" political shenanigans from around the world (Brexit, Trump, Duterte, etc.).

Same during 9/11. Big on talking politics, short on walking it. Often just not even talking it.

They've never claimed to walk anything, go see chris martin or bono if you want to hear some token politics that just pisses everyone off. Besides, they do talk politics constantly, just not when it's fashionable to do so, for which i am grateful.

So they should walk it like they don't talk it?

Not sure why you bring up 9/11 so often... You got Rendition and Imperial Bodybags....

Ha got me for a second. Its an interesting point though thats it's a cover off a tune which has borrowed another tune, almost blues like !

Have only got 3/4 of the way through the documentary so far but I liked the sound of the heavier song (very manics instrumental-esque sound to it) about 40mins in. Couldn't work out on first listen if that was another take on the riff or something different entirely.

Being welsh I dont tend to get too romantic about the accent (especially the North, shudder) but I could listen to Gruff Rhys speak for hours so am glad he pops up a lot in this
