Can someone confirm this was a warm up or something? Because with that length a setlist and the obvious songs i'm selling my tickets. Fuck am i paying 30 quid for that.

ACTUALLY - Edit that i just read it was a warm-up. Thank fuck for that, hopefully the setlist will get some better songs in on tour. I want to hear I Think I've Found It and Auto Intoxication at least...well more than four new songs!

Yes it was, it was a special gig for the radio, it was basically similar to the album launch, sets will be longer.

Again, i asked Nicky: 'Where Was Sleepflower?'

Nick camply: 'oh don't worry, that is all going to happen on the proper tour!'

Firstly, big thank you to Siobhan for offering tickets on here.

Also big thanks to Rob for taking me along with his other ticket.

Thank you very much

Good day yesterday. Went looking for a pub before the gig, and think we picked the only area with no pubs on it to try find one! Eventually found Tilleys just up from the venue. Couple of drinks in there with Rob and Dext before heading to queue 10 mins before doors opened.

Gig itself was good. Safe set but it was for the radio. Not sure how the "we just want to get fucked" line in ADFL will get aired though. A big beep I'd imagine. Gig highlights for me were Motorcycle, It's not War, No Surface, Kevin Carter , and Adfl.

The descent didn't sound right without the proper strings and has been said, the backing vocals in SKON were different, but still enjoyed a great gig, by the greatest band!

Quickly got Nicky and James autograph on gig ticket after gig as well as a photo.

As Relic said, we headed to pub for a few drinks after that.

Back to the Travelodge, went to bar for one last drink before calling it a night with Rob and Tim. This however turned into more than one (including some food too!) and before we knew it, it was 2am. How good were those burgers by the way

Left Newcastle this morning just after 8am, so thinks it'll be an early night.

Thanks to all who made it a great day, and see you again soon

Whew, what a brilliant gig. Thank you to Lindz for giving me her second ticket, I had a wonderful time, and managed to chat to Lindz & the front of the queue regulars, Rob and Frostystar (the latter a 'new' meet for me). I've got a sore foot so didn't want to risk the barrier, and went for a sit down for an hour or so before the gig with Tim and Jood, who is as lovely as ever.
Thank you Rel, I definitely enjoyed our dancing and pogoing too.

James was looking hot. Mr SC now seeing the pictures thinks Nicky looked a bit Jarvis Cocker in one of the photos...

Post gig analysis and Spanish conversation on the part of myself and P2.

Thank you very much, I do like to be a mine of information for decent pubs! It was a well deserved pint of Big Lamp Prince Bishop too, I drank it in no time at all. If I didn't have a train to catch back to Darlo, I would have got another.

Ah yes, that was definitely a 'first' for me, sitting in a Newcastle pub listening to an Englishwoman and a Scotsman chatting away in Spanish.
