Nothing up on the streaming services internationally as yet, usually tracks would go up around 3pm UK on Australia/New Zealand sites if they were midnight launches.

The plot thickens.

I think they’ve brought us all out of hibernation ( ) with their cryptic email.

I’d guess Thursday for 6music, midnight Friday for Spotify etc.

But who knows. The Smile dropped two new tracks today, so clearly bands can just release stuff whenever they fancy.

I feel like they’d do a radio play first, but obviously I’ll still be checking Spotify etc at midnight anyway!

Well, isn't this all a bit exciting? Shame i'm going to miss the live play of it, would have felt like the old days when we all gathered around the forum hearth to listen to their latest pop tunes.

I feel a bit guilty for bringing it up now since your sis has already berated you.

They don't do adverts. But there's a golden "Hi! We're the Manic Street Preachers. Years ago we had a problem with our material leaking before release date. But not anymore! Thanks to-" name of product.
Up to you if you want them saying that in unison.
Chat later listening to 6Music then!

A lot of times, a track will have its radio premier and then be put up on streaming/iTunes very shortly thereafter. I suspect that’s the plan here!

Exactly - many songs appear in the afternoon/evening on my Spotify 'What's New' page. The new Smile ones appeared after 12pm yesterday. I expect this will appear at 7pm tonight.

this is exactly what happened with the new PS Broadcasting track yesterday; they posted in the morning it was getting played in the afternoon, so I checked Spotify and there was nothing new listed at that point. song got played around 3pm, at which point it appeared.

Things rarely leak now.

And that's another thing that's changed in the Music Industry for the Manic Street Preachers! Along with predominant print media and smaller venues.

Didn’t Amazon Music accidentally leak TUVL last time around because they put it up a week early.

Plus it’s not necessarily a leak but whoever manages these things never quite grasped the concept of time zones and VPN’s (much to our benefit) so if it doesn’t come on Spotify New Zealand at 1pm then they might actually have learnt.

I think YouTube put the premiere of TUVL up for a bit on its original not changed date.
Entire album up for a bit. And good on me for waiting for the album and not listening to it on that platform.
Would it be too much to hope Decline and Fall gets a physical release like Together Stronger?
