I'd like to know which part of which track you were listening to at that exact moment, as you seem uniquely serene in that crowd.
Then again, JFPL does do that.

I mentioned this in the KYE anniversary thread but I'll mention it here too: KYE really does have the most beautiful and least dated design aesthetic of any of the album covers and interiors and eras*.
*With the obvious exceptions of THB and perhaps EMG. The most dated is obviously GT.

Manics with the Welsh Football Team today (please let this mean they've recorded the official Euro 2016 song)

The picture was taken 18 minutes in, and I started the album just as I crossed the start line... I was somewhere in the midst of "Facing Page: Top Left"

It could be a look at American bands only in Cuba, but this list from Rolling Stone about acts that played Cuba doesn't mention that band from Wales that played a gig there.
And yet they mention "The Dead Daisies" whoeverthefuckthey'resupposedtobe! http://www.rollingstone.com/music/pi...-back-20160322 |

I can immagine a couple centuries later, the Manics will be, just like Tesla, "the greatest forgotten Brittish rock band in history"...

I'm watching Sky News online and they keep saying the Stones are the first British band to ever play in Cuba. They talk like it's something that's never happened before. It's so annoying I'm this close to emailing Sky and correcting them but I guess it would be fruitless...

Surprising when its been brought up on newsfeeds about the Cuba gig how many people have never heard of the Manics. The never been very well known even when popular. Remember all through the 90's having to go to gigs alone as work mates didn't know them, during the EMG/TIMT era you would get a few more but it died out after that
