Absolute Radio have added Queen to their name and for one day will play nothing but Queen songs. Including live and b-sides.
I look forward to one day Absolute Radio doing the same for the Manics.
And just play A Design For Life and You Stole The Sun From My Heart all day.

I’d love the Manics to do an album of Queen covers... or maybe mash-ups!

e.g.

Who Wants to Live Forever Delayed
One Vision Blurred*
We Are the Runners-Up
Underdogs Pressure
Flash Yourself
Killer Queen Be(e) Natural
Bicycle Race Emptiness
Crazy Little Thing Called Love Alone Is Enough
We Will Rock You’re Tender and You’re Tired
Somebody to Love of Richard Nixon
Fat Bottomed Girl Who Wanted to be God
I Want it All is Vanity
Bohemian Rhapsodespair to Where

*mash-up cover of a cover (‘cover-ception’).

Other suggestions welcome for this serious, important theoretical project.

To mourn the absence of Gran Turismo on the PlayStation Classic (probably because of music licensing issues, same with Wipeout) let us remember the most iconic moment of JDB’s career.

Kylie was on the sofa with them and when JR asked the Spice Girls what their favourite Kylie song is, Mel C mentioned “that one you did with James Dean Bradfield, Confide In Me”.

Bus home caught myself not only singing lines from Yourself but apologising to the woman in front waiting to disembark as well "No it's a Manic Street Preachers song I'm singing it's alright". No idea how loud could be heard over engine but recall corner of eye a look of bafflement.
The first two lines I think it was as well which has now added a hilarity I have just noticed typing out now!

It's from a New Zealand (I think) music magazine. I think I have a copy of the disc.

Seen that online before but never actually looked at the track list, interesting that it ends with Be Natural. It's my favourite song on the album and surely it must've been highly thought of by someone to even be part of a promo like that yet not highly thought of enough to be played live at all until these anniversary gigs. Mind you, this is the same band that sold merch with I Think I've Found It and Don't Be Evil written on it but didn't play either of those songs at all..
