I just had a micro panic attack they might disband. and I do not want that not yet plsnotyetjesusplsplsplsnooonononononoooooooooooooo oo

deep breathe. okay. no disbanding for Manics pls. It would be so hard to survive this cruel world without the happiness the Manics bring to my miserable life. I need them.

Not really, considering that you'd have to be medically brain dead and on a life support machine to not notice that fact! Even deaf people know Nicky Wire can't sing

The Manics make me happy and that's all I care about. I don't care if they haven't been musical pioneers or whatever. They are immensely talented and it has been a privilege to see them performing live. I look forward to many more gigs to come!

Well they could always wheel out The Year of Purification as a tribute, with what being a song musically inspired by R.E.M. and all (IIRC AFAIK ETC).

I really love Nicky's voice, especially in William's Last Words.

Yeah, same. I realise he has very little technical singing talent but I really like his singing voice.

How come only Richey got the nickname Richey Manic?
Why was there never a Nicky Manic or Sean Manic?
