Distant Colours on 6 Music right now. Think its the first time I've heard it being broadcast somewhere and not just on the net or whatever.

Not on TV / Radio, but I was out in a bar in Birmingham last Friday that plays some 90's music. It was the usual suspects (Oasis, Blur, Pulp etc.) until over the speakers came "I hate purity, Hate goodness..." and Faster came blasting out. It still sounds so confrontational and the reaction on the faces of the people in there was much like that on the faces of those in the Top of the Pops studio all those years ago.

International Blue was on the Six Nations the other day. Wales Vs Italy, I think. Blue didn't win!

Distant Colours on Radcliffe And Maconie right now. I though Dylan & Caitlin was supposed to be getting the play?
It does sound better on the radio than it did in the video. |

The 90s are a vague memory... How long did there used to typically be between singles? The roll out of Resistance Is Futile seems faster than I remember single releases being. But maybe that's because the gap is a smaller percentage of my overall life now...

Did the session for Absolute radio get played in the end? Saw a lot of photos of them setting up but then radio silence (if you'll pardon the pun)

Distant Colours was played on Jeremy Vines show today, its only the third time I've herd the song on Radio 2. Whilst IB I was hearing about 2-3 a day at its peak.
Also Manics are the most played band from the past month on Absolute Radio: https://absoluteradio.co.uk/music/ 142 times in the past month |

IB and DC getting a lot of plays on Radio X at the moment. Only so many times a day you can play "Feel it Still", I suppose.

James will be on BBC Radio Wales on Janice Long's show quite shortly, I believe. Glad to see the programme can be listened to live from outside the UK as well.
