I have no single with my pre-ordered hmv version of national treasures! is it just mine that's been packaged wrong, or were they never with it in the first plcae?

nope. i pre-ordered from HMV too and got no single. i was expecting them to come together. not sure what to do about it really?

Hmmm, I was wondering if I'd just dreamt the idea that the single would be with it, as I couldn't remember exactly where I'd got the information from.

But seeing as at least one other person had that impression perhaps I'll give them a ring or something and ask.

Did it definitely mention the free single at the tme your ordered? It was red writing added to the image of the product for a while - then they got rid of it.

for mine it did. i checked my order history on the site and it still says it there, bold as brass. next to the phrase "fully shipped" or some such nonsense.

Weird how some people did not receive the TITD single with the limited edition order of NT. I receuived it with my order.

that's pretty off of them, I got a reply saying I should've bought the special edition CD, which I'm pretty sure is what I bought!
Maybe give them another day, it took them a while to get back to me.

which part of hmv in terms of email did you send it to? thus far i've had an "auto response" type thing and nothing more. they will reply in 48 hours alledgedly and that was 5 days ago.

I sent a Request t the standard hmv complaints and enquiries email, they took more than 48 hours, but they we pretty efficient. They sent me an auto respeonse in a few minutes saying they'd reply within 48 hours. They took longer, but they didn't seem too disorganised about it. (apart from the fact they think I ordered something different to what I think I ordered, but I think that's more down to the confusion of ordering,)

If you think you ordered the right thing you should check your order details, it should look something like this (my red lines for emphasis):



"Bonus Cd Single" is quite unarguable really. If that wasn't on your order, maybe you didn't order the item when the free single was available (either before or after).

All a big mess of course, they should have just made sure every pre-order had the bonus single included regardless.
