Why you didn't include the French lady in the credits for The Last Time I Saw Paris and/or why you insist on it being a secret?

Why did you clearly write another song about Richey and then make up a load of old nonesense about it being about a scandinavian bridge.

What's that all about? I don't know either of the two very well (assuming we are talking about Le Chic and Steps, and "Chic/Steps" isn't the name of another band I've never heard of. Which I'd obviously know even less about. ).

Those two, definitely! And then that tiny little thing I've been wondering for quite a while now, with the Manics, and other bands as well: "Have you ever read fan fiction about yourself, and if so, how did it make you feel?" I came across the Manics Fantasyland fan fiction a while ago, and some of it made me blush, haha!

No I haven't asked him that. And no I wouldn't ask him that.
Do you actually doubt he is married? Or do you just want to ride the Wire?

James, why do you sound half arsed with your vocals on much of your work in the noughties?

Has James quit smoking and why the hell didn't he quit before it took his falsetto?

The strings in INWJTEOL are pretty much lifted from a Steps song called Stomp and that in itself is a sample of a song by Chic called Everybody Dance. It'd be nice to say that the manics took the Chic version but sadly they didn't.

You can check it out at http://www.whosampled.com/sample/760...erybody-Dance/

go to 25 or so seconds for the steps version and 16 seconds for the Chic version.

So shameful...

It's not war isn't though (unless you talk about Nicky's demo)

I love It's Not War, personally.

I did just stick on the Nicky demo since you mentioned it - I could cheerfully never hear that again!

Different strokes for different folks

Nicky's demo isn't a great song but it's raw and honest whereas the final song, that, to me is just antiseptically clinical and fake, emotionless...

oh and it samples a steps song

BUT....it is a good Steps song....

Well you're certainly right about it being raw and honest!
