One of my fav JDB moments in the line before the break in Slash n Burn at Glastonbury 94: "is she dead? Is she dead? Is she day-yay-yay-yay-yay-yay-yayyed?"

La Tristesse Durera is JDB's finest moment ever in my opinion.

4:13 of pure beauty, emotion, screaming and dynamic.

THAT solo also deserves a mention - just amazing

I would go for From Despair To Where or Faster as second choice. The emotion in his voice is just something else.

Of Walking Abortion

Delicious.
How to cause mayhem on Britain's Got Talent? "I'm going to sing 'Of Walking Abortion' by Manic Street Preachers".

I wouldn't know where to begin to choose the one I consider 'The Best' because it's far too hard to decide!

another vote for From Despair here, the middle eight especially.

whilst i tend not to rate GATS that highly compared to most of the other albums, i'd definitely put that era down as JDB's best, vocally.
