Manics, My Bloody Valentine, Nick Cave... Oh how I wish I wasn't perpetually skint.

The airfare cost would be astronomical for me.

Gardemoen is the correct airport, you'll be able to get the train from there to the city.
Thank. Goingt to seriously look in to this and how much it will cost.

But then you'd miss Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds! I can't go because my boyfriend doesn't finish his exams until the following week, hopefully they'll announce more European dates :-)

Thanks for the heads up. Ok i'm VERY tempted by this.

Hmm...I'm seriously considering this. It's quick and easy for me to get to Oslo. The festival tickets seem to be slightly pricey, though.

Ooh good news.....I miss the Manics, I actually want to go to this. Although I've got no desire to go to Norway at all, it's just not a wile sexy place is it?

This is so tempting. A 2 yr wait to see the band again is far too long, especially with Nicky talking about new material.

What other festivals do you think they might do?

It's the right amount of time IMO - 2011 was a saturation year. I was going to gigs like I was a football fan following his club around and not really enjoying it.

Yeah I know some people were but I couldn't and for me its a bit too long. Guess it makes people miss them a bit and not saturate things like you say but I think I might go anyway.
