i really wouldnt bother going if i was you. If they went down that badly when on before Slash, they are gonna die in that line up. I have loads of mates going that are all about 16/17 (unfortunately i am on holiday,) and they have never properly listened to the manics, dont understand them, find them boring and their music to be funny for some reason. In fact, none of them had ever heard of them before i got into them, and they get quite amazed when the Postcards video is shown at the gym because they cant believe they are that famous.

And if the main stage line up that they've found themselves stuck in the middle of wasn't ill suited enough, they're clashing with N Dubz and The Saturdays. This could be a new low and they've got to go through the pain twice!

They may as well take the opportunity to let Nicky perform I Killed The Zeitgeist in its entirety. Nobody will be paying any attention. The best case scenario is that anyone actually bothers to turn up to stand stony-faced for 50 minutes beyond the Eminem/Rihanna barrier clingers.

Sold my tickets as I just can't be arsed with the festival anymore… even though it is 10 mins from my house! Slightly regretting passing on the Manics now though and just had a thought, what if they do a V99 on it and debut the new track off 'National Treasures' - GAH!!!!

They won't. They'll play the same greatest hits set with no surprises, sandwiched in between some awful, awful bands. While they'll still probably be amazing, it won't be worth the full ticket price just for their short set. You've made the right decision.

Ok so it now seems that after selling my tickets, I'm going anyway thanks to my girlfriend's workplace having a couple sitting in the office and no one wanting them!

So 9 years after we met in the crowd waiting for the Manics to come on the second stage as a replacement for Travis who were replaced on the mainstage by Chemical Brothers and subsequently the Manics replacing them… We will be back again, together in a giant unison and par-tay-ing haha x

Thought about getting a day ticket for the Saturday at Staffordshire because it's my 18th on Friday, but I'd have no-one to go with and the rest of the line up is awful, plus it's my friend's 18th on the Saturday and she's having a proper do for it, unlike me.

It looks like they're going to be streaming everything they're allowed to all weekend from the main stages.

Watch the full horror unravel live tomorrow.
