littlebabyeverything and I are going to spend most of tomorrow looking round the city. We'll probably pop down to see people in the queue at some point. We'll probably be going in after doors though.

On the Airlink bus (with it's rather plush seats) now heading towards Haymarket. I have no idea where we're going.

Getting there and getting back's easy. Best thing to do is to take the Citylink 900 coach, which you can get at Buchanan Bus Station, get out at Haymarket Station (ask the driver, he'll give you a shout when you get there), turn sharp right onto Dalry Road, catch a 44 or 4 bus (there should be one every ten or so minutes, so you shouldn't have to wait long), and travel along, getting off at Slateford Train Station. From there, just walk towards Asda, and the Corn Exchange is right next to it.

'ere, have some maps -

Haymarket to 44

Slateford Station bus stop to Corn Exchange
(Red dot's the one you want to get off at, blue dot's the stop you'll want to take if you miss it. You'll pass under a bridge shortly before getting to it)

Getting the 900 back to Glasgow is easy enough. It's 3 years since I last had to take it, but back then, it ran regularly until midnight, and hourly after that. Although if things do go disastrously wrong, drop me a PM and you can crash in the spare room.

It's a very nice day in Edinburgh thus far. We have a pretty decent view from our hotel too. Looking forward to exploring the city!

You and Snooky could get a bit of climbing in Ben by scaling the walls of the castle!

Yeh, watch out for that. I was wary of waiting at Slateford, so me and a friend tried to get the last Glasgow train from Waverly. However, getting to Waverly after the gig proved to be a nightmare, no taxi's becuase of everyone coming out the venue, unsure of bus routes etc. When we did finally get to the city centre, we could make the last train in about 4 minutes, but of course Edinburgh Waverly has about a million platforms (facing the sun har har har) no really, a lot of platforms, and we couldn't find the last train, so likewise had to sleep outside.
