I have no RECHY poster on my wall, and 15 years ago I was 11, so I totally NEED it!

Why are they going with the '25th anniversary' anyway? Even the NME weren't wanking over the Manics before 1989. '25 years of Culture, alienation, boredom and despair - and Behave Yourself Baby.'

And was the song 1985 a lie or something?

LOL I noticed that too. Using the "official" start of the band, I guess? Though going by the other NME issue completely on the Manics, I think their first article on the band was in 1990!

I'll flick through it on the shelf, but this special issue will be far from special.

I'll probably buy it. NME know that I'm waiting out there somewhere. Ready to bombard their letter/inbox again!
