My friend only listens to the songs I listed haha.

My boyfriend's stated it a few times during Manics-related conversations before.

my boyfriend likes all of JfPL, in general. before meeting me, his only Manics experience was TIMT, and he hadn't been a big fan of that.

My best mate likes Guns N' Roses and The Clash but never really got into Manics. Big fan of MASH too, and he loves Manics' version.

Even to the point of putting on a motorcylce helmet and dancing around his living room.

Yes. I had another friend who I tried to get into Too Cold Here, and it stuck for a while. The Yes person actually got fully into a Manics, like a few of my friends did.

I have a friend who is more of a Stereophonics fan (I personally only like their first album), he went to the newport gig last week, and loved it, but he was disappointed they didn't play Autumnsong or Australia.

Most of us lot were criticising the hits-heavy nature of the sets, he was disappointed that two were missing. Odd.

He did, however, admit the Manics were better live than the 'Phonics. I consider that something of a win.

My sister used to like Tolerate. I would play it down my mobile to her at gigs. We also used to sing Ifwhiteamerica... together, with the harmonies.

that friend would be what in the States they call a "keeper".

most of my friends who i have introduced to the Manics go for Tolerate, one friend in particular though says "Kevin Carter", and yes indeed it is for the trumpet bit.

I forgot, one of my friends really warmed up to YLAINE, and also said she fancies Nina Presson based on the vid.

I will just number these:

1) Found That Soul (a listener to most albums but not a fan, liked KYE more than TIMT)
2) PCP (partner of 1, not a fan of their po face lyrics but thinks their early music can be great moshing material)
3) Jackie Collins (not a fan of the band, but believes they are a singles band a lot of the time)

I have more but eh, most are not a fan of the band as they say they seem boring and false for the most part like 1/2, but 1 has said he enjoys their festival sets and goes to catch them when he can. Most people I know don't believe they're capable of a good consistent album
