genuine !! thanks for the defence, and i had no idea that the "(deluded) AUTUMNSONG APPRECIATION GROUP" was so militant these days. what happens when you have a face off or showdown with CoR, then? where's that Gets Popcorn GIF when you need it.....

Regardless of what you think of it, is it not a bit daft to play AUTUMNsong at T4 on the Beach? Essentially a SUMMER event...

Well I can safely say I won't be joining it. Hah!

I was there the first time they played it at Manchester Apollo and thought - "that was a bit shit". Then I heard the album version and didn't like that. They then FORCED me to buy the single by putting a cover of Red Sleeping Beauty as the B-Side. The bastards. Hah!

It's ok I respect that sombody else can have a different opinion, and like it!

I just personally don't think it's a very good song. I was surprised by the level of proper Autumnsong hate on here!

i'd make enquiries about joining just to get a look at the requirements on the application form.

my ownership of the single formats for this song are the badge that i wear that is called "will buy anything with Manics written on it". for those who bought it and actually liked it, win-win i guess.
