Why were they still using cassettes to record demos at home in 2007?

Because when they were recording Futurology, Nicky was mostly at home when Sean & JDB were in Hansa, Berlin. Apparently texting JDB the lyrics "blew his mind" according to Nicky so I can well imagine that James was still using a trusty cassette four track at home to get ideas laid down in 2007.

Mind you, I'm just listening to BBC Radio Wales coverage of JDB recording The Chamber Soundtrack right now, and the excerpt sounds like someone with a damn good grasp of creating dance music!

Sean said on Twitter the other night that he knew nothing about the anniversary release. He thought the German record company was getting ahead of themselves...

Wasn't she at the National Treasures gig? Although that wasn't a SATT show.

So this isn't happening now? Oh well, I have all the CD singles with the b-sides so I guess I have everything from this period.
Nina was at the National Treasures, gig, yes

Rather a new album this year than another anniversary box set thingy.

(Unless it's for Lifeblood obviously).

They're pretty hard to find and expensive though, quick search and can only find one of the Send Away The Tigers ones for pushing £100 on Discogs. Was very lucky getting all mine not long after they came out, got all of em for less than that. I'll get it anyway, but I'm sure anyone who doesn't fancy shelling out silly money on the Japanese reissues will be grateful for a UK one, plus a DVD for £20.

Well quite.

Also if the listing for this was to be believed it had material not included on the Japanese reissues. So you could just as easily say 'just buy the original 1 CD...' *shrugs*.

I hope this is a thing.

Did anyone manage to get a screenshot of the page before it was removed? The comments in the thread have piqued my interest.
