After nearly 3 years at uni here I finally get to see them in Cardiff, very excited

Hotels near the arena - there's a Ibis right next to it, other ones off the top of my head included The Big Sleep, Sleepers which is by Central station, Travelodge on St Marys Street and I think there's possibly a Holiday Inn around the corner from it (there's definitely a Holiday Inn by the Stadium too).

Heard very good things about both of the above. Most of the city centre hotels in Cardiff are terribly over priced and charmless; why anyone would ever stay in a Travel Lodge/Premier Inn, unless they were undergoing some sort of Partridge esque crisis, is beyond me.

First Cardiff date I'll be missing since I became a fan despite free accommodation at my parents', oh well I chose to move away Will have to stop myself being tempted to do it, Leeds to Cardiff back to Manchester for work on Monday is too much for one weekend, accept it James.

ooh i'm too old for those two.. they look cool tho. Opted for one of the cheaper rip-off hotels....

Yep, going to this one... PHEW!

Not going to bother booking a hotel now, as I was put off by the crazy prices and thankfully a good friend of mine is driving from Wolverhampton so I'm just going to tag along

Yay I got tickets. although disappointed that fan pre-sale offer the crappiest seats. Block 6 for me. Maybe should have waited. How big is the venue? Will I need binoculars?

It's not huge and they usually have screens. I was on the balcony opposite the stage last time and it was alright.

Going look at hotels and avoid that last train back to Swansea which is slightly scary

Thanks. Block 6 is the back centre block opposite stage so I guess it will be fine.
