I'm thinking of going to Birmingham.
If you get seats can you sit anywhere or is it numbered?

That's kind of you Sue! I'm sure I'll find somewhere to grab a bite. Have been to Brum a few times Matt!

Yep - Smallbrook Queensway - the road between New Street station and the Academy - has about five takeaways & a Subway.

There are even more round by the Arcadian too - it's basically 100% pubs and restaurants.

Where are the stage doors for the 02? Is there one main one they are likely to appear from etc. Also as a lone gig goer what chances are there of asking someone to take my pic with a band member if I get the chance. Or are people likely to be too hysterical to even contemplate it!

If I can pluck up the gumption to wait around for them I'd be delighted to oblige

If I can locate you amongst the milling throngs then thanks very much! If all else fails I'll give Nicky a poke whilst I pose with James!

I'll probably end up getting a pic of him fiddling with the camera! Anyone know what side the stage doors are? Are they relatively easy to find?

I have no idea what you look like but I would take a photo for anyone who asked, I think most people would if you asked them
I'm gonna need someone to take one for me too

Well as long as I'm not the only one, that's ok! I'm sure someone on security might be prepared to do it if asked nicely!

I was also wondering where the stage doors are - never been to the Academy before so I wouldn't know. And how long does it take for them to come out usually (if they do)?
