I did 6 on the PPF tour, and they were all perfect, but perhaps Swansea for the venue or Cambridge for the stunning setlist. I doubt they will ever top it.

I've got it somewhere too. I look at it when I am disappointed with the manics setlists and it makes me smile .

Yep, it shoes they can do it. TGTWTBG is at my eye level when I see that setlist, and I'm always gutted I didn't get to see it.

Nottingham '02 was excellent as well. 4Ever Delayed. Shame that one never seems to get aired these days.

A bit of me wants to say Forever Heavenly:
1. Motown Junk
2. Sorrow16
3. We Her Majesty's Prisoners
4. Starlover
5. Spectators Of Suicide
6. You Love Us

There are four songs in there that I never ever expected to see live. That's 2/3 of the set! Twas amazing, but I'm gonna go for King Tuts cos that had more songs:

1. Strip It Down
2. Your Love Alone Is Not Enough
3. Motorcycle Emptiness
4. From Despair To Where
5. Peeled Apples
6. This Is Yesterday
7. Kevin Carter
8. Tsunami
9. Found That Soul
10. Little Baby Nothing
11. Jackie Collins Existential Question Time
12. If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
13. Donkeys (Acoustic)
14. The Everlasting (Acoustic)
15. You Love Us
16. No Surface All Feeling
17. Masses Against The Classes
18. Motown Junk
19. A Design For Life

Pretty much a greatest hits set with bonus Strip It Down and Donkeys, no You Stole The Sun From My Heart and no overpowering keyboards. Brilliant.

It got played in December '07, so it's been included in setlists more recently than a lot of Lifeblood stuff. I wouldn't mind hearing TBTGOG again, too.

Wembley 2002 (my first Manics gig) was great. They played 'Life Becoming A Landslide' which was amazing! I think Bristol 2005 was probably the best setlist of a show I've been too though.

So the best setlist you've ever heard is that album in full and in sequence? Oh dear......

Only seen them four times, upcoming will be my fifth so haven't got a list as long as my arm to choose from! And yes I really enjoyed the JFPL setlist, both halfs.

i honestly don't think i could choose just one, there has been so many great ones. The PPF ones i went to were awesome, especially Leeds and Hammersmith 2nd night, but i also loved glasgow last year, edinburgh on saturday night, edinburgh in 2007, and hull uni back in 94

I guess i am just a very easily pleased manics fan because i don't get to see them that often having only seen them about 20 odd times over 18 years

Gutted I missed the PPF tour!! Sets looks amazing.

Did you guys have a thread where you were posting the set as it came in live?

I tried a search but i'm rubbish at finding things with that....or maybe there isn't one

I would love to read through that if you do if someone would be so kind as to post a link
