That sent me off looking for some Generation Preachers info as I knew them a bit back in the late 90s. Amazingly there's still an old Angelfire page up and a video of a gig in 1999.

Lee Small - who was James - still releases music too, reggae influenced. He can belt out a tune - plenty of videos on Youtube if anyone's curious.

You sound great! I was honestly a bit sceptical before watching as the voice would always be the hardest part to get right but I do think you've done him justice here

THANK YOU! Actually we have a balaclava hanging off part of the drums :-)

Thank you, much appreciated being 100% honest, I can sing all the Manics songs, but after 2 hours it really strethches my vocals, so to keep me at 100% we drop the tuning of a few songs here and there, hence the guitar change. His range is ridicolus.

It actually sounds like you get better and better as the show goes on. Hope you guys make it for a gig north of the border sometime soon.

Ah, in that case I didn't notice the change of key! Sounded spot on, weirdly.

The JDB voice is a tricky one, you really need to have a reasonably high speaking voice to do it well I think (and I don't, and therefore can't). Some men are just blessed and you must be one of them.
