Thanks everyone for the good replies. I've checked out the TOTP "Empty Souls" clip. Thought it was more a case of Sean being hacked off with the faulty kit.
Never knew about the T In The Park episode. I shall go look at that. Seems like they have broken a few guitars, but when you divide that by the number of gigs they have played the number is quite small.
