The setlist my younger son was given after the gig. The quote is:

Although the actual quote from Vonnegut is "... more bearable."

Wonder if that was deliberate or not?

I think this is from a song by Wilco (Jeff Tweedy is the frontman/founder member), but I don't know much more than this... can anyone expand?

You are correct. It's from the song Jesus, etc from the excellent Yankee Hotel Foxtrot album. I think I'll go and put it on now

I saw one of the setlists and it had this Bertrand Russel quote on it:

No idea where it was though! It stood out as a good one.
