Thanks Melancholy Flower, my GCSE French is a little rusty! I think this is one of the best songs they've done in a while. It seems strange they didn't include it on the album as I think it would have fitted in well enough. Plus it would have given us an interesting demo!

Placing Misguided Missile on the album instead of this beauty was immensely misguided!

Biggest clanger the band have made in a while by not including this amazing song on the album!

Fabulous track, brilliant lyrics, wonderfully mysterious and a bit spiky. It really is a travesty it's not on the album. (All in my opinion of course!)
I am a complete francophile though and yeah a demo of James singing in French would've been interesting! Last edited by cdrw1992; 07-07-2014 at 15:45. |

This would have been a perfect album closer.... can't believe it's not on the real album. Great track. Wonder who sings it...

'Misguided Missiles' sounds like A-ha, and I can pay it no higher compliment.

Is it not in the album liner? (Digital copy owner here.)

Wikipedia mentions Cate Le Bon is on the album, but she isn't listed on the main album. She does speak French, so I would assume that it's Cate who sings the song.

Cate Le Bon is listed as one of the backing singers for Let's Go to War (along with H. Hawline and Gavin Fitzjohn) so I doubt it, or else presumably they'd have credited her for this song too.
