Probably GSTM songs

We are still waiting on this section, it's gonna be badass. But while you wait perhaps you would care to peruse the lyrics for 'Underdogs' and 'Your Love Is Not Enough', from the album 'Send Away The Tigers'. |

"A shipment is on it's way"!!! Check your emails. Somewhere in time my copy of the 3CD is in the process of delivery. Obviously nails previously cut.
EDIT: My order on their official shop says "Fulfilled". Out of our hands, Son! It's all on the delivery now. Thanks for your business! Last edited by Son of Stopped; 10-04-2024 at 10:01. |

It's the same length as EMG and shorter than THB so it kind of surprises me they're stumping for double vinyl, especially as it's likely to sell less than those two. I know they reckon 38 minutes is about optimum for a single record but there are plenty that run to 50 minutes that sound fine (weird to think that Abbey Road would end up a double album if it was released today).

Just received the dispatched email.
Are we actually going to get the album on the day of release? It’s been years since I have. |

Album's only 45 minutes long - no reason it needs to be 2 LPs.
That is, unless it's 45rpm, still, 33 on one LP would've sufficed. |

Between "12.30 and 3.30pm". I think I've had really good service with the official store. Really should have got the deluxe of Even In Exile.

My CD copy is coming today apparently, woo. I went into HMV and ordered the red vinyl with some vouchers I had, so that should come too sometime, although I've not got any confirmation via email or phone regarding that...

My little faith in the official store has been temporarily lifted.
The 1985 original version really is Orwellian isn't it ? |

Edit: I'm loving the sound of the drums on the demo! Edit: Loving the mellow lo fi vibes of the original TLORN! Edit: That live to fall asleep demo, never change James, never change! Edit: For a second there I thought To Repel Ghosts was going to go full late 90's rave! Alas, no. Edit: So who wants to take bets on who is milking cow during the bridge of the Solitude demo. My money is on Sean.

Received mine already! It's lovely, both cd and vinyl came with signed inserts. And the t shirt has the tracklisting on the back, but with The Soulmates and Antarctic added at the bottom.

Having finally gone through clearer, I think it's a bit clearer why the band don't look at this period fondly. While I enjoyed them, there's a listlessness in the tracks. You can feel the band struggling to find a sound that works for them or even a track to centre the album around. It's definitely a case of the album being rescued in the studio by the producers. That's not a slight on the band but they were ready for a break to do the solo albums before Lifeblood rather than after.
Question: Are BBC6 live tracks skipping for anyone else? (Possibly the weakest performance of the songs from this era. Would have been nice to have some good quality recordings with Guy Massey)

Hooray! I can join in. Went into next town and then walked back. Someone was in for me. It still hadn't arrived by the time I got back at 2.00. And as I was removing my thick heavy leather jackoat(?) and black hoodie (in THIS fucking weather?!!) THUD!!!
Still in it's cardboard box. Still not opened yet. Priority post! Also, if you are taking part in the physical first week, then please wait until what the midweek charts say around Wednesday. Wow! It's been a long time coming! |

Started with the b-sides. Failure Bound does what Engage With Your Shadow doesn't and so far only weirdmouth thing.
Oh No Jubilees intro is still beautiful. I'll listen to all when on YouTube. I'm missing frequencies (£20 player lol!) but not enough to regret purchase. Hope everyone else gets their orders fulfilled. Will be going into Lifeblood next. |

I think we have a new contender for cringiest manics lyric in the 1985 alternate take with "Johnny gave me a joint!"
