I shall get the wristband but my son is going in my place as I am supposed to be working, though I'm sure my Supervisor would let me go and make the time up, I've done these before though and always run off when it comes to my turn so I'm sure I would be no diferent this time. With regards to signing the album, do you have to buy it before or pay for it after you have got it signed?

When i went to a signing at Cardiff's HMV for Joe Calazghe we were ushered in and really didn't have anytime at all, and there was only a small amount of people there!!!

Still undecided as to whether to go to the Birmingham signing! Depends whether I can turn up about half 12 or whether I need to go in the morning to get a wristband. Will ask at the store on Saturday.

I wouldnt bother asking them.....they werent very helpful with me! unless I just went in at the wrong time and spoke to the wrong people

Manics at HMV Manchester 31-10-11, I need a HUGE favour!
Of course you all know they're playing at 6 at the HMV on Market Street, but I need a massive favour.

I can't get down to get my wristband at 9.30 due to my shift. Is there anyone who can pick just one up for me? You will be showered with untold riches (Well a pint or two anyway).

If not, i'll have to pull a sickie, not good whilst I'm still on trial!

Please can someone help!

Don't quote me, but as far as I am aware, wristbands at signings are usually given out on a 1 per person basis.

I did read some rumours about a gig around the time this stuff got announced but on the HMV site it says it's just a signing anyway.

I'm sure it was posted in the signings thread that there is NO gig now, signing ONLY.

I'm confused - I thought it was not a wristband affair? What the heck is going on???? So in this thread we have mixed messages about whether they are playing or not (I know they are only signing now) but as I am not going to Manchester, can anyone clear up what the deal is with the Brum thing? I have to pop into town this afternoon so I might ask HMV but as people are saying they don't have a clue so does anyone have a bloody clue???? /rant over

Ok. I've been to signings that are usually 1 wristband per person, but I guess that's down to the popularity of who's doing the signing.
