Sod it! Thought I'd get it out of the way before I forget, bought 2 from Play (one for the car!). Surely they're going to have to order more stock!

I want Lifeblood 2 - get back to New York and record Track 1: The Cardiff Resurrection, and James can find all those poems Nicky did of cities that he lost.

Just got my digital copy of Lifeblood from Amazon. I know that ManicsPostcards follows the FD forum twitter feed.... so it could be a good idea if whoever controls it (Tim?) to send a tweet to the band, because we know they'll get it for sure then

that's exceptionally kind of you to say, but it was a mere humble reaction to the band badmouthing the album again in that NME article on their choice of Top 40 singles and then Mr Wire taking to twitter and saying "why wasn't 1985 a single", something we had been all asking for, what, 7 or so years?

all i did was work out that you can get an album to climb up the chart dramatically these days with very few sales and start this thread; the thanks - and a really big thanks - is due to all of those who love the album and the band and can afford to pick up another copy.

Just downloaded it from I-Tunes
I couldn't do it from fromAmazon.uk.com beacause of geographical restrictions.Anyway I opened play.com too and with a big surprise I found out that Lifeblood is the first album of their list (I don't know if that means something or not).

Glad to see Lifeblood getting some love!! A very underrated album (in my opinion of course) and one that I go back to quite regularly.

Ok, I know you're a humble man, but I'm a new fan and I'll always remember you as the man who sped up my decision to buy the first MSP CD (actually I bought four).
Of course this wouldn't be possible without such a big response of the other fans, but I guess the Manics should be the ones to thank us all!
