I think the important lesson to take from this is the manics should never support beyonce.

The manics festival crowd is generally the mid 20s plus who want to go to the bar, have some chips then enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whilst they were probably still there I'm guessing a lot further back as to get down the front was literally a queuing and running the minute you got in job.

It was a really young crowd so if anything it was only like YLAINE that got any kind of recognition with a lot of the barrier. It was an almighty crush as well - T being warmer than Oxegen there must have been 4/5 people pulled out and stretchered off during the manics set so even if you wanted movement was a bit limited.

Was a weird experience though, having been spoilt the last few years I'd forgotten quite how much effort the main stage required!

Oh, shit, I guess I should live then...

Erm, just giving my 2 cents: I was at Glasto two weeks ago, and I went to see Beyoncι and it was, she was amazing, such a performer and singer!
Still, I'd love to queue from the early morning to get the front row at a Manics gig, if I had the chance to attend one of their shows.

Oh yeah, totally not dissing beyonce, on the Sunday we stayed on the barrier to watch her and it was amazing. It was more a case of I think there is pretty limited crossover in fanbases. Possibly the manics missed a trick and should have bought back the Umbrella cover.

don't worry, I'm not a fan of her, I only know like 5 songs or something (but I liked Destiny's Child when I was younger...''liked'' = ''5 songs'' lol), but she really puts up a solid show. I guess that her fans, her true fans, would prefer to see Tinie Tempah instead of the Manics

i really don't like coldplay, their songs don't seem to go anywhere and they all sound the same
