Ugh... supporting the stereophonics? Or the "meat and potato manics" as (i think) adam on the pod put it. Then again, they are the more popular band i suppose. Mysteriously.

And somewhere he was laughing, in a white-painted loft, distant fingers caressing the deck, tears of release streaking his face. |

If you have an HDR telly you too can enjoy being under neon-loneliness!

Okay, so…the boys are playing Party At The Palace on the same day as Sophie Ellis Bextor this year. Can we pleeeeease get a live rendition of “Black Holes For The Young” now?

Might be of interest to some peeps, it’s a pod about inclusivity of marginalised groups in music with this four parter (not sure if there will be more) looking at the manics. It’s a really interesting listen but i may take issue with the discussion of the manics even having a manifesto.

A couple of weeks ago the band went past their previous record time between gigs (1 y 233 d from the end of the PPF tour to the Winter Wonderland gig).

That awful, soul destroying moment midway through a lovely walk on a beautiful summer's day, when you discover that at some point in time, for some reason beyond your comprehension, you have deleted "Engage With Your Shadow" from your phone and you now have to choose a different song instead, as if any could measure up. The horror, the horror.

I love the new bits of guitar work on the new arrangement of Tolerate.
For some reason though, I can't get the Spice Girls out of my head now. |

New Public Service Broadcasting album looks interesting. Recorded at Hansa studios, with a theme of Berlin, inspired by Low and featuring a track with Nina Hoss.
Where do they get their crazy ideas from ? |

I have to say the Berlin 'theme' has been done to death by now.

And a section called 'Building A City'. Bonkers.
