Oh, and he knows about the Jimbo karaoke on YouTube - he's nowhere near as ignorant as he makes out.

I don't want to! *runs away before I feel the heat of Franny's wrath!*

Was hoping for tailing.
Must say that Mac was overpowered by James, Nicky might have shone out more

Yeah, but Mac has a more lilting Liverpudlian tone to his voice. Nicky's might have been too harsh for the song.

I'm reading Richard at the moment. It's guiltily enjoyable, in fairness. Nothing for non-Manics fans to bother with and it's no surprise to see American Psycho as one of the influences in the bibliography. Richey does come across as a depressed Patrick Bateman but Myers is no Bret Easton Ellis. Sean, on the other hand, will be absolutely delighted with how he's portrayed.

Some random thoughts listening to the broadcast.
Sean hates touts! Sorry if this is old news? So does the ghost of Happyfeet stalk the FD Ticket Exchange muttering? Nicky mentioned Atom Heart Mother! My "Atom Heart Mother At 40" thread is justified further! As for SKON, I liked it nearer the end than the beginning. Did record it, but also picked up my cats hissing and fighting each other three times which sadly won't appear on the finished record... So I've only heard two songs from the album now. |

Yeah, Mark asked him if he/they ever did any impromptu performances after a story about Kylie getting on stage at a Somerset pub.

Oh and James wrote the lyrics for "I Think I've Found It" according to Nicky's Radio guest slot.

And Nicky did music for SKON

I was more horrified than wistful at the idea of a Bradfield/Jones duet, but it is an intruiging idea. Anything could happen now that Jim's writing lyrics and Nicky music - an angry, Sean-voiced rap penned by James to a human beatbox backing by Nick, for example.

All this swapping of roles in the band is starting to confuse me! Nice to hear there are some James lyrics on the album. Hurrah!
