Only one cassette colour. Get with the times. You need at least five.

Ok. Orwellian. I quite like it... I'm not blown away on the first listen, but the piano is nice and unusual, and there's something pleasingly off-kilter about the melody. I thought 'Even In Exile' was an absolutely beautiful album and I feel like there's the tiniest sliver of that record's arrangements in here, so all to the good. It definitely feels more interesting and less identikit than anything on Resistance Is Futile. Which feels like a massive relief. It could definitely grow on me over the next few days. I'm always open to the slow burn.

Little bit bothered by some of the lyrics. "It feels impossible to choose a side" - really, Nicky? Really though? When one of those sides includes white supremacists trying to steal an election? Really? But eh, that's the fluffytwat for you these days, what you gonna do.

Really, really looking forward to a Barrowlands gig after all this time. Disappointed the Newcastle gig is at City Hall (seated venue, ugh). Disappointed they're playing the Apollo in Manchester rather than Albert Hall... every gig by every band should always be at the Albert Hall.

Three different vinyl can fuck right off (still buying them though).

What a tune! I'm in love - it's sooooooooooooooooooo good. For a band on their 14th album to come up with this is pretty impressive. It's so Manics-que - but, they - I love the Manics, so that's perfect!

That’s bloody mad. £11 if you want it sent via DPD.

Ordered.

You certainly 'can register' but this banner suggests some sort of cross-check will occur

i actually really like the artwork on this one, so that rules the HMV version out... think i've got enough signed discs and things now, so looks like the Amazon free delivery will win over those additional £7 costs from the official store... just want to confirm that's the yellow vinyl, because, call me crazy, the image definitely doesn't look like it's yellow...

Order it now and cancel it if a more yellow edition appears online.

Signed CD ordered - gotta keep up the collection (sigh....)
Not sure where the hell they got £7 delivery from though!
Also pretty disappointed that the deluxe edition doesn't contain any additional tracks - is this going to be the first Manics era without any 'b-sides'?

The other side includes anarchists wreaking havoc in cities like Portland, so I can very much see where Nicky's coming from here.
