I'm not putting it in the Red Hot Chilli Pepper's thread. This is "Eddie". The EVH tribute https://youtu.be/pXMEXCT5ohY
Yeah, Eddie Van Halen and Manic Street Preachers!!! Not only does the intro sound like a great Manics b-side, the lyrics containing "It's only 1983, 1983".
Now using years in lyrics sound familiar! Nicky wasn't the first, just reminded me more of the Manics than Eddie Van Halen.

Manics conundrums:
What if a general election gets called in the UK while they're on tour in America?
I'm not them. But I'd be more than a little pissed off!

Here's the bigger conundrum, do they re-record Repeat to account for the change in Monarch?

Only if they record it like a tape recorder and you can hear the record button being pressed and "KING" said too close to the mic.
With a dog barking in the background of course.

I read somewhere there needs to be twenty five working days minimum between calling a general election and it taking place. So no need for the boys to be worrying.

Happy Birthday Forever Delayed the compilation! All those years ago in 2002. Still got your 2CD thing.
Also, still saw your single disc going for £3 if not £1 in discount Supermarkets.
50/50 on seeing the CD in Poundland. But other stores like that, there'd be one single copy or a couple more.
Give it a spin! Or if out and about today and see a copy, give it a nod and wish it a Happy Birthday!
20 years ago and both self and band in better place.

Errr WHO?

Also, wouldn't it be sweet if Sophie Ellis Bextor joined the guys on stage for a rendition of "Black Holes For The Young"?

You reminded me of a concert I've been to very long ago. I had the same thought about the song Black Tattoo by Urban and TBF, because both bands performed that night, but, no... Urban did play Black Tattoo, but the guy from TBF didn't join in on stage for the rap part.
I understand, but too bad. Would've been epic.

So, with the American tour kicking off tomorrow will there be anything special or antagonistic for the tour? If White America? The Love of Richard Nixon? Virginia State Epiletic Colony? Dead Yankee Drawl? Tennesse?

Anyone else sees Sean in this image, or am I just obsessed?
