If things go the way they are going it may be the first time they’re on the same bill as Guns n Roses

I’d have no issue with that. I imagine they’d headline a smaller stage, I know they were suppose to a year or so back.

They supported them a few years back on some of GNR's European tour dates! Definitely supported them at Berlin as I was there!

I had a Chat AI making a draft of ideas for Nicky Wire's episode of Doctor Who. Feel free to use it Nick, if you read this (we know you do) and happy new year to all

The episode could revolve around a character who is struggling with their own identity and purpose, and who finds themselves drawn into a conflict that forces them to confront their own beliefs and values.

The Doctor and their companions could find themselves caught up in a war or political conflict that tests their ability to stay true to their principles and make tough decisions.

The episode could explore the theme of resistance and rebellion, as the Doctor and their companions fight against an oppressive government or organization.

The episode could be set in Wales and draw on Welsh history, culture, and folklore, incorporating elements of Welsh mythology and traditions into the plot.

The episode could feature a character who is struggling with addiction or mental health issues, and who finds the support and guidance they need from the Doctor and their companions.

The episode could explore the theme of friendship and loyalty, as the Doctor and their companions work together to overcome challenges and support each other through difficult times.

More of a random question but is there anywhere that I can download (free or purchase) the Gwenno remix of "Orwellian"? It's not a particularly good remix but I'm a completionist enough to want to have it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere outside streaming?

I don't know where to find the remix. But good luck Nicky Wire on his Tenby Art exhibition today. I was hoping we'd get news of this on the day. Looks like he wants the paintings to be as separate as possible from Manicsland.
Unless of course we wake up tomorrow to coverage and press releases. Doubt it.
Happy painting, Nicky! We've had a photo you took as the cover, paint the next album cover!
Or use one of your paintings for your own album?
Well good luck with the exhibition. If I'd known etc

I'm not aware of anywhere you can officially stream or download it, just that Orwellian vinyl. I'm half-expecting it to appear on the inevitable remixes Spotify playlist.

Good picture on Manics socials of James in a guitar store with his new Eastman Juliet model. It looks like a slimmer black telecaster but with a huge Gretsch looking whammy bar.
The instrument model was (See, I looked it up!) created in 2019. It would have been so easy to just buy another Les Paul. The fact James looked at what guitar technology (It's an expensive high end guitar which made me go "What's high end?") is like now is worth posting about.
Unless he just buys it for his collection and never touches it again!
But at Eastman Juliet's prices which I can't bring myself to look at, you'd expect to at least have been tried out in their studio?
Best "Getting back to work" picture I've seen of him.

It's always quietest before the Manics announcement.
