Just looking highly unlikely now. They're really putting us through it with this one!

I think a re-issue of this album would be a mistake. There are some good tracks but what would they have to talk about on the DVD apart from having a number one? THB & EMG were defining periods for them so re-issues made sense, but if you have a special for TIMTTMY then where does it stop? A re-issue for Lifeblood (God forbid)? Then they'd be compiling specials for albums that aren't even theirs!

Maybe not Lifeblood as well then. But you have to remember that Truth was a defining moment for many of us just as THB and EMG were for other fans so I don't think it's asking too much.

I heard the re-issue for KYE was actually going to be shorter than the original album.

I don't know what we'd do without you to tell us everything about what the Manics are or are not doing

A reissue wouldn't be a mistake as such, but an anniversary one would be. They should just remaster the rest of the albums and put them out together.
The anniversary of a time when most of the media decided the Manics had lost the plot and Sean started wearing blue lenses in his eyes for promo videos like boyband members do and many of the original fans turned their backs on them to be replaced by fans the band openly admitted to disliking isn't something worth celebrating. |
