I've got 3 vinyl versions of RTF. I'm going to end up with 5 of TUVL.
Yet I've only got one version of Lifeblood. Something is amiss.

5 TUVLs + a CD and a cassette!

If that's not gaming the chart system then I don't know what is

RTF only ever came out in plain normal vinyl didn't it? RIF had colour options though

I wasn't even counting the other formats. They know how to make money from their fans. They could at least have put the tour tickets on sale after another pay day.

Yup, Barrowlands gigs are always a treat. City Hall are removing the lower seats for some gigs to increase capacity, certainly the Charlatans gig in December is that format. Although its the local gig for me not sure if I'll go, I've come to despise gigs in Newcastle. No atmosphere and people constantly talking above the band.

£10 for postage though WTAF????

(ignoring the fact I apparently only listened to JDB's 'from the acatama dust' 3 times, and could've just ripped off YouTube a few days after release anyway...)

I find the Manics always, always put tickets on sale a week or so before payday, or a few days after some hugely expensive life event. I mean the second part of that is *probably* just coincidence, but...

Oh, that's interesting. Thanks for the info!

Newcastle arena on the RiF tour is the single worst Manics gig I've ever been to, but I've had some good gig experiences in Newcastle, I think it just depends what kind of crowd the act attracts.

Hard to say - International Blue had one though.

So, out of the venues in Cambridge, Bath or Brighton, which one is the best for a Manics gig? I haven't been to a gig in any of those places!

Corn Exchanges tend to be nice victorian circular buildings so I'd suggest Cambridge, but that's just a guess!

Can't seem to order the regular CD with the t-shirt. There's a graphic suggesting you can, but they seem to have listed the deluxe twice. It's like they don't WANT me to spend every penny I have on this garbage.

Bath is cozy, but the crowd is a bit meh (though that could be saidd of most manics gigs these days).

Going to wait until the deluxe version pops up somewhere else, I'm not paying shipping costs like that. Especially given that it'll either turn up dented or get shipped to someone else, knowing the official store.

I really like the song, worryingly centrist lyric aside. It sounds like Lifeblood-meets-Abba, which is, bizarrely, what the interview suggested. Is this the first time Nicky's actually been kind of accurate about this sort of thing?
