Know Your Enemy 20 scheduled for 2021 release

Was on Amazon this evening and noticed that Forever Delayed and Know your Enemy vinyls are on pre-sale? Very odd.

Edit to say the publisher was listed as Legacy with no release date.

I thought they’d get it out by the end of the year so it could be ‘KYE20’, though I guess they’ve technically got until March 18th 2022 depending on how you look at it. Or they could just make it the KYE21, it might suit the general sense of being purposefully non-conformist and doing everything differently like the album did. Or release the two halves (if they end up doing it that way) separately, either side of March, to completely subvert the whole anniversary edition thing!

We will see.

Is there still a vinyl shortage? Shipping delays etc.
Very surprised if we hear anything in the next few weeks. Although I'm very good at reading between the lines. In a recent interview Nicky said his attention was between two boxes of KYE stuff and his solo album. Then even more recently interviewed saying his solo album just needs mixing. No mention of the KYE box.

Good points. Except about Columbo, you would have been perfect!

Being on a major should allow them to skip the vinyl manufacturing queue quite a bit, but they'll still be looking at a few months manufacturing time even with that. It'll be along in the new year at some point, maybe given the timing they'll try and do an actual 21st anniversary and put it out in March. The first two Mansun albums got 21st anniversary reissues, so it's not unheard of.

Perhaps waiting to see if tours are a permitted thing in January onwards again

1. Coincide KYE20 with tour
2. Teasing Nicky post about practising Intravenous / Purification / Dead Martyrs
