Just spoken to the acadenmy

They said as it stands they are going ahead, but this COULD change overnight and to keep an eye on Facebook, Twitter and The official site.

If this gets cancelled, there's gonna be an impromptu FD meet up (piss up ) in London, right?

I wonder how many people from abroad would manage to attend the rescheduled gig. I can already say that I won't be able to.

Indifferent!

I've been to I would guess 10+ manics gigs so it's not a new thing for me any more. I love the band and this is the only date I'm going to, but I'm old enough to no longer feel gutted.

Heh, because age and feeling gutted about a cancellation are totally linked, right?

I'd be mildly annoyed if it was cancelled as I was looking forward to making banners with Will and Kate, dance routines with Sarah and Kelly and seeing BSP and everyone again. Also there is the .0001% chance that there could be an interesting song in the setlist.

I'll be two off a BSP decade, one if Brum happens. It's gonna be weird when BSP aren't with the Manics, they'll never pick a better support. Me and Deets will be celebrating our tenth gig in the queue on Friday if you want to come

gig

I'll be gutted if they cancel; I'm flying in the morning, so will be in London when/if they cancel with no option but to stay. Annual leave from work, hotel, flights..etc...dang!

Where if I may ask is the Manics fan meet-up on?

I've never been to one of the meet-up's, relatively new to the boards but a fan for nigh on 10 year methinks!

At a pub near Brixton Academy I'd imagine. If the gig does get canceled, I'd be up for having a few beers with FD folk.
