Out of all the manics gigs I've seen, the best opener was the 03 version of Motorcycle Emptiness on the 07 winter tour. That was epic.

I'm bloody disappointed about them already.

So, Lovesean, this is a tour that will be close to the album's release in a matter of weeks?

If they're looking to do venues they've not done before or in ages, then I hope a similar setlist treatment comes into effect.

Opening with Found That Soul has been a wish for almost 5 years, and after Tuts I hope that continues. A bit more Bible and a lot more (at least 2 songs would be a lot more, right?) Lifeblood, a chunk of Journal, some rarely played or never played songs, some new songs for sure, My Little Empire, Elvis Impersonator, Enola/Alone, Further Away.

Tell me about it. *rolls eyes*

But while I'm here...

Anything I've never seen them play, or that they haven't played in a while/ever.
A single from THB other than Faster
Elvis Impersonator
Anything from TIMTTMY that isn't a single
Anything from Lifeblood
Any b-sides

Or a predictable hits set to annoy everyone.

Glasnost, Marlon JD, Epicentre and Archives Of Pain would be good!

So would Nostalgic Pushead... if James' voice could still do it, which it couldn't

YES!!!! I'm sure James could still do it if he put his mind to it!

James voice is better now than it was when GATS was released, he perhaps just doesn't have the same stamina for some songs
