Sometimes with the cost of day tickets it's actually more worthwhile to get a weekend ticket. If you can deal with all the shite bands and horrible crowd of course.
Still hoping they announce V or Leeds. I really don't think I can justify going to Scotland for Manics!!

Ah well, here's hoping they do Sunday, tickets were going for fuck all on the Sunday in 2009 when Saturday people wanted £300 for one. Might just repeat the 'turn up,sit about'pray for luck' routine.

I don't mind T but the I really hope it doesn't mean Oxygen too as their Oxygen sets in 2009 and 2008 both feature in my all time bottom 10 manics gigs.
They should clearly do Lattitude instead that weekend and make my life easy, except I'm not sure they'd really fit the bill there. |

£200 is ok. Say there's 5 bands I like, that's the equivilant of paying £35 a gig plus booking fee, right?!
And I like at least 5 bands that are on that lineup, I think. *thinks* Manics, Pulp, Eels, Blink (although they are shite live), Blondie. There. Ticket worth it.

Thats one of the best festival line up's I've seen, obviously from my point of view. Shame I live 300 miles away

I did T in 2009 and it was a great gig, but the crowd was mental and it was rough and it is too much money for a day ticket just for a max 1 hour set if they are even anyhwere near a headliner on one of the stages, also unless tey announce what day or stage how are we to know. Bizarrely i live 10 mins from TITP but it will actually probably be cheaper to go to Cardiff for the weekend.

I probably won't bother with this. It was a great gig in 2009, but the whole thing is exhausting and expensive. Plus some horrible cretin pissed down my leg and you're just constantly fending off pricks for the entire day. Too old for this kind of shit. I will have a better time in Cardiff (hopefully).

Latitude would be lovely, I really liked it last year, in a rare going to a festival to see bands other than the Manics moment, even if it is possibly even harder to get to than Scotland from Bristol. |
