I got "GROUND" tickets for Dublin too after selecting "standing". Definitely appears to be accurate, both with the reassurance of what other people are saying, but if you look at a seating map for the Olympia, the "seated rows" are by letter not number .. so my ground ticket for example is row 34, but there isn't a "seated" row 34, it would be a letter.


I think its all good Very excited! The tickets (non-surprisingly?) seemed to fly off the shelf.

Definite.

I've seen hundreds of bands in The Olympia.

The only ever gig I was at in there that was seated downstairs was The Smashing Pumpkins on the "Adore" tour. That was more the band's call after a girl got killed in a crush at their previous Dublin show.

Seriously pissed off with this. I was on ticketmaster at 9 on the dot and it tells me there's no standing tickets left. Seriously pissed off.

Same here. I had tickets in the cart at 9:03 and when processing the payment a page cam up "We apologize for any inconvience. - Back to event page."

I also tried it by phone and they told me at 9:15 that they have 1 ticket left for the whole event - you can still search for tickets at the website. What crap website - I cannot believe that they have the monopoly for the tickets!

Yet if you go outside the venue you'll see the usual touts that have somehow managed to get loads of tickets.

There really should have been a pre-sale for these shows.

It's a fucking kick in the teeth for any genuine Manics fan that touts probably bought 8 tickets at a time.
