Now onto Everything Must Go which gets complicated, again no remixes/radio edits and the live tracks are mostly separate from the studio b-sides.

One major note is all tracks from the 1997 Nymex performance from this and the This Is My Truth era were ignored since a full live album has now been released.

If anyone knows when & where the live tracks on CD1 of the 10th anniversary edition of EMG were recorded I'd be very grateful

Everything Must Go
All tracks taken from the 2016 20th anniversary boxset

Studio B-Sides
All tracks taken from the 2016 20th anniversary boxset with the exceptions and notes below
Dead Passive [original tiny intro only on the original Design For Life CD1 added to 2016 remaster]
Black Garden [2016 remaster used with original 'Glory Glory' intro missing from 10th anniversary edition of EMG]
Hanging On [2016 remaster used with guitar scrape missing from 10th anniversary edition of EMG]
Bright Eyes [taken from Lipstick Traces]
Take The Skinheads Bowling [original version from Australia CD1 not reissued as it was replaced by a 2003 re-record in all re-releases]
Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head [studio version from Lipstick Traces]

Live Tracks & Demos
Everything Must Go (Acoustic Version For Live & Wire-less August 1996) [2016 20th anniversary boxset]
A Design For Life (Live Sheffield City Hall 14th October 1996) [taken from the 2CD 2009 Japanese reissue of EMG]
Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky (Live on Later With Jools Holland, 18th May 1996) [taken from the 1996 'Later Volume One: Brit Beat' compilation CD]
From Despair To Where (Live At The Phoenix Festival, Stratford-upon-Avon, 19th July 1996) [taken from the 1999 'Phoenix: The Album' compilation CD]
You Love Us (Live At Sound City Leeds, 8th August 1996) [taken from the 1996 'Radio One Sound City - Leeds 1996' compilation CD]
Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head (Live At Hillsborough Justice Concert, 10th May 1997) [taken from the 1997 'You'll Never Walk Alone: The Hillsborough Justice Concert' live CD]
You Love Us (Live At Hillsborough Justice Concert, 10th May 1997)[taken from the 1997 'You'll Never Walk Alone: The Hillsborough Justice Concert' live CD]
6 Live tracks from CD1 of the 10th anniversary 2CD edition of EMG
Demos and alt. production tracks from CD2 of the 10th anniversary 2CD edition of EMG

Live Manchester Nynex Arena 24th May 1997
From CD2 of the 2CD version of the 2016 EMG reissue

Onto This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours. Again this era ignores remixes and separates out live versions of album tracks.

As with the previous era any tracks from the 1997 Nymex concert were folded into the CD release of the entire concert with the 2CD version of EMG.

This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours
All tracks sourced from 2018 3CD reissue with Prologue From History removed and Nobody Loved You reinserted in it's rightful place

This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours
All from the 2nd disc of the 2018 3CD reissue

Studio B-sides & Live Covers
Prologue To History [taken from CD 1 of the 2018 3CD TIMTTMY reissue and still treated IMHO as a b-side]

Socialist Serenade [taken from CD 3 of the 2018 3CD TIMTTMY reissue]
Train In Vain (Live at Newcastle Arena 14th December 1998) [taken from Lipstick Traces]
Buildings For Dead People [taken from CD 3 of the 2018 3CD TIMTTMY reissue]
Masses Against The Classes [all 3 tracks taken straight off original CD single]

Forever Delayed and Lipstick Traces era. For simplicity I lumped the There By The Grace Of God b-sides with the Door To The River. Forever Delayed itself I decided to go with it's first release rather than treating it as part of Lipstick Traces.

Forever Delayed - New Songs & B-Sides
There By The Grace Of God [taken from the Forever Delayed album]
Door To The River [taken from the Forever Delayed album]
Automatik Teknicolour [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of Lifeblood]
It's All Gone [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of Lifeblood]
Unstoppable Salvation [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of Lifeblood]
Happy Ending [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of Lifeblood]
There By The Grace Of God (Saint Etienne Mix) [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of Lifeblood, only CD release of this track as it was originally on the There By The Grace Of God DVD single]
Forever Delayed [taken from the 2003 European single of Motorcycle Emptiness, identical to 4ever Delayed Lipstck Traces version]
Little Baby Nothing (Live Acoustic) [taken from the 2003 European single of Motorcycle Emptiness]
Faster (Live Acoustic) [taken from the alternative version of the 2003 European single of Motorcycle Emptiness, only have a 128kbps MP3 of this from a kind forum member many years ago]
Motorcycle Emptiness (2003 Remix) [rare promo version with extra strings added, only have 256kpps MP3 from a kind member of this forum many years ago]

Lipstick Traces
Take The Skinheads Bowling [rerecorded Lipstick Traces version, 2016 remaster from the 20th anniversary EMG boxset used]
Been A Son [from Lipstick Traces]
Out Of Time [from Lipstick Traces]
Last Christmas (Live TFI Friday) [from Lipstick Traces]

Final one for today is Lifeblood and b-sides. I've put Leviathan in this era but I actually have it as a separate single as I don't feel it fits this or SATT.

From this era I started adding Japanese only bonus tracks to the b-sides as I generally like having the original albums as the UK releases

Lifeblood
All tracks sourced from 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood

B-Sides
All tracks sourced from 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood with the exceptions/notes below
Voodoo Polaroids [taken from the 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood, only CD release of this track which was on the DVD single of The Love Of Richard Nixon]
Quarantine (In My Place Of) [taken from the 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood, only CD release of this track which was on the DVD single of The Love Of Richard Nixon]
The Soulmates [taken from from the 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood but on all Japanese versions of the album]
Antarctic [taken from from the 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood but on all Japanese versions of the album]
Empty Souls (Single Version) [taken from the Empty Souls CD1 single]
Dying Breeds [taken from the 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood, only CD release of this track which was on the DVD single of Empty Souls]
Failure Bound [taken from the 2009 2CD Japanese reissue of Lifeblood, only CD release of this track which was on the DVD single of Empty Souls]
God Save The Manics EP [all 3 tracks taken straight from the EP but also on the Japanese version of Lipstick Traces]
The Instrumental [June Brides cover issued on the 2006 'Still Unravished - A Tribute to The June Brides' compilation CD]

Lifeblood - Demos CD
Rare CD with demo versions of Solitude Sometimes Is, Emily, Cardiff Afterlife & Quarantine. I have none of these tracks and only know about them thanks to p2

Now the biggie, Send Away The Tigers had the most scattered tracks I've come across for any era. There were lots of live/demo/instrumental tracks all included separately as well as some download only releases. For the downloads I'll list where the highest quality version can be found if it never got a CD release.

I've also moved Working Class Hero to the b-sides, I liked the album ending on Winterlovers and it always felt awkward as a secret track. I've also kept the original track listing so Underdogs hasn't been replaced by Welcome To The Dead Zone as per the 2017 reissue.

Send Away The Tigers
All tracks sourced from original UK album

Send Away The Tigers - The Demos
From the 2017 reissue I've taken the demos which are tracks 12-21 on CD1 and treated them as a separate disc a la all Manics albums since 2009

B-Sides
All tracks taken from the 2017 10th Anniversary reissue of SATT with the exceptions/notes below
Leviathan [released on 2006 'Help: A Day In The Life' compilation, download release has an intro not on the original CD release, the version on the 2017 SATT boxset has the intro intact hence I've used it]
Umbrella EP [the acoustic version and Grand Slam Remix tracks sourced from 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of SATT but still available as CD quality download from Qobuz - the original track was available on the 2008 'NME Awards' promo CD]

Live/Demo Tracks
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough (Nina & James Acoustic) [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of SATT but available as a download from Qobuz]
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough (James Solo Acoustic) [sourced from a download from Qobuz]
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough (Nina Solo Acoustic) [sourced from the 2017 10th Anniversary reissue of SATT]
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough (Instrumental) [taken from the Your Love Alone Is Not Enough promo CD but available as a download from Qobuz]
Send Away The Tigers (Acoustic Version) [taken from the 2009 Japanese 2CD reissue of SATT but available on all Japanese versions of the album]
Autumnsong (Instrumental) [taken from the Autumnsong promo CD but available as a download from Qobuz]
Autumnsong (Acoustic Version) [sourced from the 2017 10th Anniversary reissue of SATT]
Autumnsong (Live) [now deleted download, I only have a 256kbps iTunes download]
La Tristessa Durera (Scream To Sigh) [Live At The Point, Cardiff, 12th June 2007] [originally issued as download only but was given a CD release on the 2009 Japanese 2CD Lifeblood reissue]
From Despair To Where [Live At The Point, Cardiff, 12th June 2007] [originally issued as download only but was given a CD release on the 2009 Japanese 2CD Lifeblood reissue]
Indian Summer (Instrumental) [taken from the Indian Summer promo CD but available as a download from Qobuz]
Indian Summer (Demo Version) [sourced from a download from Qobuz]
Indian Summer (Acoustic Version) [sourced from a download from Qobuz]
Indian Summer (Live At VMAs) [sourced from a download from Qobuz]
Motorcycle Emptiness (Live On The Dermot O'Leary Show 3rd April 2007) [taken from the 2007 'The Saturday Sessions - The Dermot O'Leary show' compilation CD]
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough (Live On The Dermot O'Leary Show 3rd April 2007) [taken from the 2013 'Dermot O'leary Presents The Saturday Sessions 2013' compilation CD. I'm certain this is correct as it looks like this date was the only time they played this track on his show]
If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next (Live On BBC 6 Music 25th April 2007) [taken from the 2012 'This Is BBC Radio 6 Music Live' compilation CD]

These are brilliant. Loads of tracks I never knew about, especially those included on compilation discs. Had a feeling there would be a few I didn't know about.

Appreciate the logic that makes you put certain tracks in certain eras. Makes me think I should re-evaluate some of my own choices for my playlists.

Thanks again for doing this, really invaluable to me!!

This should be called 'The Vorticists' but was misnamed for the downloads for some reason.

The main Umbrella cover is also available on physical CD on the NME's 'Awards 2008' disc.

Thanks Porco, forgot about the The Vorticists from trying to index too many tracks.

I've referenced the Umbrella CD but atm I'm trying to keep it fairly simple. The idea is that hopefully it'll help people complete their digital collections so the plan is to provide details on the best source of track available.

That said if you've got any feedback to more the merrier, I'm trying to make it as definitive as possible so really trying hard to make this as thorough as possible minus remixes.

It's great, there are a few tracks I have realised I don't have from these lists, I may try to get them soon myself.

That's fantastic, if I've managed to find tracks even you've missed then it's doing exactly what I'd hoped for

And now a nice easy era, Journal For Plague Lovers. I have included the remix album to be perverse. as usual Japanese bonus tracks are shunted to the b-sides.

Can anyone confirm if a full instrumental version of the album exists?

Journal For Plague Lovers
All tracks from the UK version of the album with Bag Lady edited to be a separate track

Journal For Plague Lovers - The Original Demos
All tracks from the deluxe UK version of the album

Journal For Plague Lovers - Instrumental Version
Rare promo version of whole album I don't have

B-Sides
Alien Orders/Invisible Armies [taken from Japanese release of JFPL with Bag Lady edited out]
Primitive Painters [taken from Japanese release of JFPL]
Journal for Plague Lovers (Acoustic Version) [only released as a download if you preordered JFPL from iTunes, I have the 256kbps iTunes download version]
Jackie Collins Existential Question Time (clean version) [edited lyrics for radio only replacing 'fucks a catholic' with 'begs a catholic' released on promo CD and Mastermix Pro Disc 107 DJ CD]
Vision Blurred [only released as free 128kbps download from NME website, cover of The Horrors]
Jackie Collins Existential Question Time (Live On Later With Jools Holland 5th May 2009) [from the 2009 ‘Later ... Live With Jools Holland 2’ compilation CD - it’s got alternative 'clean lyrics' replacing 'fucks a catholic' with 'does a catholic' which is kinda awesome]

Journal For Plague Lovers - The Remixes
Released physically on vinyl but available in CD quality from Qobuz
