Maintaining a high profile is essential, particularly in the current music industry climate - they can't do their usual disappearing act for nearly two years before a new album, they are not big enough any more and people constantly need to be remined that they are still around making great music.

Hurray! That's great news!

And I want all the b-sides that's not on lipstick traces, and a full interview

My favourite album of all time (including non-manics music)

Made my day that has :-)

Have we clarified exactly where that info is from, I mean the original post with the specific release date in it?

Hopefully less b-sides (all pretty easy to get hold of!) and less demos of the same songs and more unreleased tracks than the EMG 10th!

for me personally i don't like hearing live tracks so those missed out would be good but plenty of footage on the DVD would be the best, cos I'm not a huge fan of that album nowadays anyway

basically, I am waiting for Nick to sign off the edits, it has to go through a process and as soon as I get word from HON that it's good to go it will be up, can't do anything before that though sorry!

I don't really think of this as a defining album. A continuation of the EMG popularity made it successful - I'd prefer a 20th GT but perhaps the 2 re-releases we've had are enough for now.

you don't seriously think they'll tour again this year do you? even a small one? I agree with Always that they can't do a disappearing act again like normal and they need to keep their profile up, especially in the wake of the NME award. I reckon NME award, couple of festivals, possible Truth re-release then that's it until end of 2009.
