Had to sell my tickets last minute due to an unforseen circumstance. Am truely gutted about this as I have never seen them at the Newport Centre, but luckilly I am seeing them in Birmingham on Tuesday at least! Enjoy all who go!

Pretty excited now. I can't believe I'm going to see the manics three times in a week and BSP four times in a week. I just changed my flights for BSP and Aer Lingus have screwed me for it. However, I'm sure it will be more than worth it.

Oh and can anyone recommend a good pub to watch the Man U vs Stoke game in Cardiff, on Sunday?

Good call this. Walkabout is pretty great for football as well, massive screens everywhere. Watched the World Cup Final there and it was excellent.

Right, Ade's pumped up my tyres (really, not a euphemism), and I'm gonna get packed, do a bit of housework, and set off soon.

See you later, Newport peeps

I'll second that. Good beer selection.

I can see some very dark clouds out today in Cardiff, suspect it might piss down later.

I'd be more excited about tonight if I hadn't seen the setlists they've been playing.

Bah humbug Can't wait to hear No Surface All Feeling again. Last time I saw them in Newport (2008) was bloody special, I'm fully expecting this to be as well!!!

For a festival warm up, 2008 was good. I remember Of Walking Abortion being pretty special.

If they wheel something like that out again, I'd be happy. As Manchester got Yes, I'd be pleased with that. A little more variety is all I ask!

I loved Pennyroyal Tea, but I guess there's no chance of a repeat performance tonight...

If your going to the BSP gig and looking for a place nearby I recommend the claude. It's about a 2 min walk down Albany road from the venue.

South wales is a bit shit for live music at times, so it's a rare treat to be able to go to 2 gigs by your 2 fave bands in the same weekend!
