Unsure if this is covered somewhere else, but here's a rather shakey and tinny video of NLY from the original TIMT tour. As a bonus, James actually does the slide guitar bit before quickly dispatching it for the final chorus.

But still -- what I wouldn't give for a full rendition of "You're Simply the Best" Tina Turner's by far the greatest of the US divas and that song is an absolute belter too. |

A new/slightly random upload. 4 songs from the Finnish Provinssirock festival. Ever wanted to see Manics songs with Finnish subtitles? Clicky clicky.
Highlights: A full band The Everlasting which is (of course) dedicated to Mika Häkkinen, and a delightful yelp in the middle section of Tsunami from ol JDB.

"tansid discossa raiskaajien kanssa"
it really pays to know finnish here. it doesn't pay to know finnish often (almost never) but when it does -- very entertaining. thanks. Last edited by Marat Sar; 21-06-2019 at 11:25. |

I've literally been waiting ages to see even just a bit of this as a proper recording. 4 songs from T in the Park 99. Praise the sweet Manic lordship for MSPedia.

Not a particularly new upload, but stumbled across this, the first (mini) gig of the SATT (although A Design for Life seems to have been cut off the recording)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrWWE63FGqw I always felt that their performances around that time were up their with the best era of live Manics gigs, and the set lists had the right balance of new album, hits and rarities. Listening back now it seems like a real shame that Underdogs and Freedom of Speech Won't Feed my Children didn't stick around in the set for longer than they did. |

that was a great night, I was there, fond memories... there's actually a TV rip sourced bootleg DVD of outstanding quality, I should have it on a HDD somewhere

Drinking wine and watching Youtube videos on a Saturday night. Excited to spot what I think is my head in the audience as the band give a live debut to Condemned to Rock n Roll...

My head's in there too somewhere. Not a bad gig though not a scratch on Glasgow the previous December.
