Not TV/radio, but I was in Boots in Leeds this afternoon and Show Me The Wonder was playing.

Chronologically speaking the last Manics song I heard played in a shop et al was Your Love Alone. Nothing else from PFAYM, RTF or Futurology. (Though I heard Walk Me To The Bridge and - oddly - Europa Geht Durch Mich on the radio a few times last summer.)
I still hear Tolerate now and again. |

ADFL on Match of the Day just now.
'As we are told that this is the end' seems prophetic right now...

For Newcastle, yeah...! I'm watching it too. Good to hear some Manics, once the darlings of MOTD with those shiny mid-90's 'rock anthems' about class war, loneliness and death!

Forgot to post this at the time, but I was walking round Trinity shopping centre in Wakefield the other week and ADFL was blasting out. Still gave me goosebumps!

Well- I suppose this is my first post here. Soooooo hi.
I am one of the unicorns- an American Manics fan. So imagine my astonishment when I heard 'If you tolerate this...' playing in a grocery store in a random, benign, dull suburb of Philadelphia a few years ago. My sister, who I introduced to the Manics, was with me and we stopped dead in our tracks and looked at each other. That's likely the one and only time I've heard them without pushing the play button myself; it's possible that I did in the UK, but it doesn't stand out because I haven't been there in like 8 years and it wouldn't have been so shocking. |

Was in HSBC doing a bank run for work and Postcards was playing, I stood in line humming away and tapping my foot When the radio guy said "That was Manic Street Preachers" I just smiled to myself.
