Reminds me of that horribly twee advert with the couple going on about liking old movies..... like Godfather 3. Blah, blah, cringe.....

Nicky: James, do you have those lyrics where I compare losing Richey to Linford Christie failing a drugs test? James: Erm...erm...no, sorry, I must've lost them. Nicky: But you did that with Wattsville Blues II! James: Yes, yes I did. |

Are these REALLY lyrics that Nicky is apparently putting on the net?
When I start to break free it pulls me back again like the godfather 3 I never can escape. Reading that makes me screw up my face in confusion, it's mental. But Godftaher 3 isn't as bad as people make out on a totally different note Maybe it'll have the soundbite from Godfather 3 with Pacino going "Just as I'm free they pull me back in!" or along those lines.

Doesn't sound like it. AWMIE is about how the UK produces good art, drama and music in replacement of our now dead industry.

When I first saw 'Pig-pig-piggy/VSEC' I was convinced it was gonna be the turdiest song of all time. And it wasn't. It was anything but.
What was it they used to say about Thom Yorke (I think), that he could sing a shopping list and make people cry? Or something like that. Well, if James sings clumsy lyrics with absolute conviction he can make people punch the air. Or something like that. |

That's a great song. Can't say the lyric ever bothered me though. I was aware what VSEC stood for, and that old law that endorsed the sterilisation of the "mentally retarded". The piggy bit I thought might've been a Lord Of The Flies reference, but who knows.
