Think it's the later, James and Nick seem to indicate they make a loss or barely break even on these tours.

Great write up of Glastonbury with unfortunately positioned microphone for Wayne Murray https://www.nme.com/news/manic-stree...etlist-3460619
Forgot he kept his sunglasses on all through the gig! That's an amazing photograph of James.
And how great is it to see them in NME for something they've done rather than lists or passing mentions in other bands reviews.

And hooray they've made the highlights which might probably get into print https://www.nme.com/features/music-f...oments-3461981
Just a paragraph but quite high-up.

James gets a mention and a video of the song underneath of his appearance on the re-recording of "Die Laughing" by Therapy? https://www.loudersound.com/features...fe-in-10-songs

Not a Manics mention specifically but Joan Jara has passed away:

The band's twitter has posted something cryptic about 24//11/23 (this Friday). Something to do with Steve Wilson, a new track perhaps? Remix? A new Kieran Evans lyric video? Sean Moore's 8-mini disc epic anthology of 8-bit chiptunes?

Wonder if another playlist is on its way - they said there was going to be a series and remixes might be next after the duets and the covers.

Didn't the Manics remix a Steve Wilson song by completely doing an entirely different piece of music?
Can't wait! Wondered when we'd hear that.

Steve Wilson has been involved with putting out quite a few albums to Blu ray audio, including one by Suede. Would be great if a manics album got that treatment.
