I was watching marvel films - one a day for a couple weeks at the start of the first lockdown. Ended up really looking forward to them. Good idea with the albums - you end up collecting a lot and end up playing very little as you get older cos you get too busy. Or you have stuff on in the background but don't listen properly. We should always have music days. I used to play albums in order of release when I was younger with favourite bands fairly regularly.

James is on Absolute Radio this Friday afternoon.
Looking forward to this. New single, album, tour, KYE20… loads of questions to ask. |

Yay! Annoying that all this is happening on the one day I'm going in to work. Rest of week I'm working from home

I imagine if they're postponing the Cardiff dates again they'll announce it on Friday too? Perhaps soften the blow by announcing a full tour at the same time?

Near-snide remark about their 1997 Brits win over the Spice Girls on the BBC today (final few paragraphs - but hey, at least it wasn't Kula Shaker!).

Just catching up on some of the interviews from the last couple of weeks and they’re really upbeat.
Pretty much from every album release from TIMT onwards (well, even GT really) they’ve come out saying it could be their last etc but far from it this time. Maybe the last year has made them reflect as to what a bloody good thing they have going on. |

I distinctly remember around know your enemy james saying (paraphrasing) that there was less time ahead of them as a band than behind which now sounds quaint.
