San Francisco was a happy accident as i was on holiday at the time there. Newport and my attendance on that tour was mainly for bsp By the way, your own gig attendance is mighty impressive.

I wonder how many people will have racked up by the time they call it a day. I've spoken to Springsteen fans at gigs who've hit over 500.

Yeah I've met them People who haven't missed a UK gig in years and the like. I just don't know how they did it during that long Postcards tour with the same set every night.

That is some serious money. Same with the Rush fans who are in triple figures. One guy I know made 200 earlier this year. It was great to turn the corner, look out onto a picturesque venue with a rolling park, and see him celebrating with a bag of Fosters cans on a bench. I'd like to make 100 by the time they split. My list could be longer if it weren't for a few obstacles along the way.

Last night I had the weird realisation that I have completely lost any memory of seeing MSP at Wittness in July 2003. I know intellectually I was there. But I have about a seven hour gap in my memory and I've no idea why. My last memory is finding my then boyfriend knocked out cold with alcohol in someone's tent when I returned to the campsite because he never turned up at our assigned meeting point after I went off to watch a band. I remember I was quite upset but immediately afterwards everything goes dark and my next memory is about 7 hours later curled up in my sleeping bag saying that I was refusing to eat or drink anything until I left the campsite and returned to civilisation with proper toilets. I have no idea what happened in between......

.....the fact that I only had this realisation last night is also disconcerting! I mustn't had had this memory gap back in 2003....when did it occur?

Well, whatever else went down at that festival for you, it is a shame you've forgotten that gig as it was a belter. Die In The Summertime Last night was the first time i thought about that gig in years too.
