I have the greatest respect for the BBC as an institution, the greatest respect, but their butchering of the concert is, frankly, shocking. And, seeing as it is being promoted as live, is also breaking God knows how many advertising laws. Bastards, is all I can say.

Yes, under normal circumstances this crowd is as dead as it gets, but I wouldn't be jumping and shouting to THB in 2015 either.

The proof will be in the ADFL pudding.

On the positive side, the sound is about as good as they've had on TV. Until Naysmith's organ is dragged on stage and turned up to 11.

Maybe they'll release a DVD then as there would be little point if they aired the entire show. Really hoped we would get a pro shot of mausoleum instead of you Stole the Sun for the 11th millionth time...
